Be still my heart....

Going through a difficult times lately...on the process of healing! It is sufficient that I take solace in God's comforting words.

Be still and know that I am God! is the first part of Psalm 46:10. Here, the word still comes from a Hebrew word meaning to “let go” or “release.” The meaning would be best understood to say “cause yourself to become restrained or to let go.” In other words, we need to come to a place where we are willing to submit ourselves to God and acknowledging that He is in sovereign control.
When we realize that we are truly incapable of controlling life, we can surrender our will to God’s will. It may be a matter of finally saying we trust Him. This will open the door so that we may experience the fullness of all God wants and has for us. After all, He is our Creator and has a perfect plan for us when we let Him orchestrate it."

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

Amen to that Lord!

  1. Thank you for sharing at Tell me a Story. Your little girl will look precious in that pretty dress. I know she will do well.

God does gently lead us in his paths. The healing he gives to us is spirit, soul (our emotions) and our body. Often we would will healing to come more quickly. In His time, we often find it difficult to wait.

  9. I am so sorry you are struggling...you know what is so interesting, I JUST read another post from someone else who had that SAME verse. It is such a sweet reminder that God is the LORD of our lives. and our problems are NOT our lord. A quote I like that I heard a while ago is this "when you glorify your problem, the bigger it will get. When you glorify God, the bigger he will get!"
I hope your daughter is doing well, her dress is so cute!
    Have a great day!
