Be still my heart....

Going through a difficult times lately...on the process of healing! It is sufficient that I take solace in God's comforting words.

“Be still and know that I am God!” is the first part of Psalm 46:10. Here, the word still comes from a Hebrew word meaning to “let go” or “release.” The meaning would be best understood to say “cause yourself to become restrained or to let go.” In other words, we need to come to a place where we are willing to submit ourselves to God and acknowledging that He is in sovereign control.
When we realize that we are truly incapable of controlling life, we can surrender our will to God’s will. It may be a matter of finally saying we trust Him. This will open the door so that we may experience the fullness of all God wants and has for us. After all, He is our Creator and has a perfect plan for us when we let Him orchestrate it."

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

Amen to that Lord!

On a lighter note. I got my baby's recital dress last Thursday! Isn't it pretty? This is going to be our or her first Dance Recital on the 26th of May! We're all too excited about it!

I am hardly ever in photos... that's because I am the picture taker! Today, I took this rare chance of being in the picture (for a change!) with my daughter. It's not easy at all I tell ya, when you have to tackle your baby down to be with you and not move as much! Didn't know it's gonna be hard work! I commend those that does well with selfies and with their child in it!

stuck in a rut!

Lately I've been kinda stuck in a rut and couldn't get myself outside to take photos for practice purposes! Mainly because I'm just a super busy doing mommy-duties all the time and just like every mommies out there, our child comes first before anything else, right? And another thing, my little one is a little bit vulnerable to outdoor elements and she gets sick very easily because of allergens and stuff like that! I don't even want to say it, but there goes my excuse!

What better way to spend your days indoors, why not take advantage of the situation and take photos of whatever amuses you...unfortunately, all I can see are my child's toys all over the floor, so I pick one up and played with it, in photos I mean! I can only do SOOC shots with all my photos, poor me. :(

Triple berry muffin...

My lil munchkin wanted me so much to do some baking just so she can join in and have fun with the mixing and the whipping, so we bought a Betty Crocker Just Add Water muffin mix.

Baking together with your little one sure is a beautiful experience and a great bonding moments...

I'm no cook nor a baker thank goodness for ready mixed available in most local stores.


I wanna make this a mother-daughter affair from now on.
